Verbena Lemon:

It is a small tree plant with a height of 3 to 6 meters with simple bayonet leaves 7 to 10 centimeters long, pointed, the crushed leaves of this plant have a pleasant lemon smell. The powder of the lemon leaf plant is dull green in color and has an aromatic smell, its taste is spicy and slightly bitter. This plant is native to South America and has been reported to grow naturally in Chile, Peru and Argentina. Lemon essential oil has been reported to have insecticidal and repellent properties, and is also used in perfumery.

Active ingredients:

Twenty-five compounds comprising 94.6% of the total essential oil were identified. The main ingredients of this essential oil are: geraniol, limonene, cineole, nerole, 1-octen-3-ol and nerol. In the Iranian sample essence of lemon, geraniol, nerol, limonene, cineole and nerole have also been reported as the main ingredients.
